William K Janshego Legacy Foundation
.
for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research & Support
The William K. Janshego Legacy Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research was created to honor the life and legacy of William (Liam) K. Janshego, a joyful, blue-eyed boy who brought light and laughter to everyone around him. In January 2025, Liam was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT), a rare and aggressive pediatric brain cancer. Though his journey was challenging, Liam’s strength, love, and spirit inspire us to fight for a future where no family faces this battle alone.
Our foundation is dedicated to funding groundbreaking research, advancing treatments, and ultimately finding a cure for pediatric brain cancer while offering support to families navigating this difficult journey. Guided by compassion, resilience, hope, innovation, advocacy, and family support, we believe in the power of community and collaboration to drive meaningful change. Together, we honor Liam’s legacy by bringing light, hope, and unwavering support to children and families affected by pediatric brain cancer.
